Course Overview

This 6-hour programme is delivered through a combination of engaging E-Learning and a hands-on classroom session, making it ideal for busy individuals who want to gain essential first aid knowledge efficiently. Whether at home, in the workplace, or out in the community, having the ability to act in an emergency can make a vital difference. This course provides that confidence.

Course Content Includes:

  1. How to safely assess a first aid situation
  2. The role and responsibilities of a first aider
  3. How to manage an unresponsive person (breathing and non-breathing)
  4. Administering CPR and using an AED (defibrillator)
  5. How to manage bleeding, cuts, and minor wounds
  6. Responding to burns and scalds
  7. Managing someone who is choking
  8. Recognising signs of shock and knowing how to respond
  9. How to report and record an incident

Flexible Study Options
The course includes 2 hours of online study followed by 4 hours of practical classroom training. Learners will receive access to our online learning portal upon booking and must complete the E-Learning before attending the in-person session.
